Benefits
Clean air without heat loss
The system provides balanced and continuous ventilation at low consumption with high energy recovery (close to 90 percent), limiting the need for opening windows or the use of extractors, which are inefficient.
Low-maintenance facilities
The ventilation system improves indoor air quality by reducing humidity. A moisture-free building is healthier, reducing maintenance needs.
Dry and healthy structures
The ventilation system improves indoor air quality by reducing humidity. A moisture-free building is healthier, reduces maintenance needs while maintaining its value in the real estate market high.
Applications
Air quality in the pool environment, contributes to the well-being and comfort of bathers. In accordance with UNI 10339, which regulates air exchange in aeraulic systems, specific thermo-hygrometric and ventilation requirements are stipulated for indoor swimming pools.
Specifically, the ambient temperature in the area of swimming and bathing activities should not be lower than that of the pool water. The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 70% and the air velocity should not be more than 0.1m/s, in addition, the air exchange should be at least 20m3/h for each square meter of the pool.
In the areas for changing rooms, toilets and accessories, the air temperature should not be less than 20°C and the air exchange should be no less than 4 volumes/h.
Indoor tubs and locker rooms represent typical environments with a high level of humidity, where the formation and concentration of mold, mites, fungi and bacteria is favored; it is therefore necessary to provide proper ventilation.
The Nicoll-branded range of controlled mechanical ventilation products offers the Klima series for efficient heat recovery and fundamental room dehumidification.
